Adaptive Game Setup Layout Design

What did I do?

I designed the layout, interface, and visual system for an adventure multiplayer game, focusing on accessibility through color-blind-friendly palettes and customizable UI components.

To make gaming interfaces more inclusive for players with color vision deficiencies and to improve overall usability in a visually dynamic, action-oriented environment.

What impact did it have?

The design demonstrated how accessibility features can enhance and not limit creative gameplay experiences. It improved clarity for users with varying visual needs and inspired greater consideration for accessibility in future design projects.

What did I learn?

I learned how to integrate inclusive design principles into visually rich environments, balancing aesthetics with accessibility standards. This project deepened my understanding of player-centered design and how thoughtful visual hierarchy supports user confidence and enjoyment.

Problem

Players with color vision deficiencies and limited gaming time often struggle to enjoy multiplayer games due to inaccessible color design and complex controls. There is a need for an inclusive, customizable interface that supports diverse abilities and enables seamless, cooperative play.

Creative Solution

We designed an accessible multiplayer gaming experience with customizable interface options, simplified controls, and color-blind-friendly visuals to support diverse player needs and encourage quick, cooperative gameplay.

Game Story

One day a pond full of average ducks accidentally gets sucked into a magical rift in reality. They are given intelligence and the ability to wield weapons. Transported to a realm of quests where they must venture through different magical worlds, fight enemies, and complete quests to get back to their pond.
